EAA’s beautiful B-17 Flying Fortress “Aluminum Overcast” will be making a tour stop at Caldwell!!
EAA is offering historic flight experiences in its beautifully restored B-17G Flying Fortress “Aluminum Overcast.” This aircraft is an example of the American heavy bomber that helped turn the tide of battle in World War II. Fly a mission back in time and feel the might of this magnificent aircraft, just as those brave.
Self guided Ground tours are usually offered from 2:00 – 5:00 pm daily, weather permitting.
$10.00 per Adult
$20.00 per Family (adults/children up to 17- immediate family members)
Children under 8 free when accompanied by paying adult

EAA is offering historic flight experiences in its beautifully restored B-17G Flying Fortress “Aluminum Overcast.” One of only 13 Fortress’s still flying, this aircraft is an icon of the Allied strategic bombing effort that helped turn the tide of battle in World War II. Unlike reading a history book, you can actually fly a mission back in time and feel the might of this magnificent machine, just as those brave young men did more than 60 years ago.
